My favorite HBO TV show, Sex & The City is turning twenty years old this year and you have a chance to view every single episode starting June 8th on E!
Sex & The City premiered on June 6, 1998 and we were introduced to four single women – Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Charlotte York, and Miranda Hobbes – and the ways they navigated dating in New York City.
For six seasons I was given endless fashion inspiration, dating advice, and the ways to navigate different friendships/relationships. The show birthed two films and there was talk about releasing a third one but, the cast members (Sarah Jessica Parker who played Carrie Bradshaw and Kim Cattrall aka Samantha Jones) had a public feud and the movie is no longer happening. I was sad at first but, they should’ve stuck with one movie.
I’m not surprised E! is celebrating the show by airing all of their episodes from Friday, June 8th – Sunday, June 10th because it used to come on this channel during the week. The episodes will be aired in sequence so cancel your plans and get your snacks and binge watch it! I have all of the seasons on DVD so I can watch the episodes anytime but, I missed coming home from work and catching the end of an episode before E! News came on at 7.
I plan on enjoying my long memorial day weekend and I will be glued to E! on the days I decide to stay home. Will you guys be watching?
