Here, I was obsessing over Kylie Jenner’s new Kylie Cosmetics Vacation Collection that’s launching today (June 15, 2017) and then I read the news that older sis, Kim Kardashian West is coming out with a makeup line at the end of this month!!! Lost. My. Mind. In true Kardashian fashion, right after the Keeping Up With the Kardashian’s Season Finale aired on Sunday night, Kim posted the date – June 21, 2017- to her Instagram account using the same washed-out pink beige from her Kylie Cosmetics collection announcement. “@KKWBeauty” beauty account is tagged in the caption of the post and the account only follows Mrs. West.
Although littler sister, Kylie Jenner has been killing the beauty industry with her lip kits, Kim has dabbled in the beauty industry before. Before Kylie was even wearing makeup, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe had Khroma Beauty, then thanks to a number of lawsuits, it became Kardashian Beauty but it slowly fizzled out of existence.
Kim also partnered with beauty guru, Charlotte Tilbury on her KIM K.W. Shade (shown above). So far, all of Kim’s shades have been nude or nude-pink so I’m hoping to see some new colors but, in true Kim fashion it will be all about Kimmy and her makeup looks.
So, I am wondering if Kim and Kylie will do another collab or if she will do collections with Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, Kris, or even Caitylin (this is a far reach, I know lol).
I look forward to seeing the branding and marketing behind Kim’s new business launch and I cannot wait to try it out!
