On Saturday, Kanye West debuted his ready-to-wear women’s collection, ‘DW’ at Paris Fashion Week to mixed reviews. Kanye West is a rapper, so what do you expect from the critics…. The collection is named after his late mother, Donde West, hence the DW, and features leather and fur, hooded and bondage dresses. Critics pointed out the influence of Givenchy and Balmain in the collection. The shoes worn by the models were by Giuseppe (LOVE them). Peep the pics below. The full collection can be viewed at Style.com.
In order for his vision to come to life, Kanye enlisted the help of Bristish designer Louise Goldin and Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci. Models Chanel Iman, Karlie Kloss, and Jourdan Dunn walked the runway to tunes by Waka Flocka Flame.
The star studded front row included, Ciara, the Olsen twins, Lindsey Lohen, Alexander Wang, and Anna Wintour, among others.

What do you guys think of the ‘DW’ collection? Is this Kanye’s time to shine in the fashion industry? Leave a comment and let’s discuss!
